Isaipriya murderes must be punished- Indian Fiance Minister

chidambaram indai 410px 03-Denying reports that Prime Minister Manmohan Singh would participate in the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting (CHOGM) in Sri Lanka, Union Finance Minister P. Chidambaram yesterday (02) said no final decision had been taken on the issue.
Talking to reporters after meeting DMK leader M. Karunanidhi at his Gopalapuram residence, Mr. Chidambaram said media reports about the Prime Minister’s visit to Sri Lanka were incorrect.
Mr. Chidambaram also condemned the brutal killing of Isaipriya, a journalist and presenter, allegedly by the Sri Lankan Army as shown in the video by Channel 4.
“I also watched the clippings of the video and I believe the contents are true. It was a brutal and merciless act. The Sri Lankan government has the responsibility to identify and punish those who are behind the act,” he said.
